AIDS
Candlelight Memorial
The Northern Nevada Outreach Team, along
with Reno's Biggest Little Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, are
in the planning stages for the 22nd annual Reno AIDS Candlelight
Memorial and Remembrance. The event is part of the
International AIDS Candlelight Memorial, which is a grassroots
movement for those with AIDS and those who have been
lost to the 30 year old pandemic.
The International event is set for the third Sunday
worldwide, but due to issues in finding a venue, Reno is looking
at hosting the event in early June. A venue still has not
been obtained.
More information will be forthcoming
on the Reno AIDS Candlelight Memorial.
